It invites the viewer to use this service to enjoy the sights. The Côte Vermeille is a region in the French department of Pyrenees-Orientales, near the border of Spain. The Côte Vermeille stretches from Argeles-sur-Mer to the border of the village of Cerbere.. The poster was printed C1930 by the print house Lucien Serre. The artist, Pierre Commarmond (1897-1983), specialized in landscape painting and enjoyed depicting mountain and ocean scenes in his work. He was affiliated with various artists’ associations in France. His career as a designer of posters was focused on landscape scenes and he was always recognized as depicting the various destinations with crisp colors and accurate artwork.
